I decided on this technological aesthetic because the project's lyrical content deals with technology and the internet. However I balanced this with very earthy colours and tones because the focus of the project is how this technology affects us as humans, from a societal level down to us as individuals.

RETURN
The EP has a very dreamy sonic aesthetic, and is also centered around simon and his internal conflicts so the thought came to place him in some slightly surreal environments, isolate him at times, or pair/group him with a clone to add to the surreality. The colours are muted and the palette is generally warm to evoke some sense of stillness, while the grainy film look of the images gives some nostalgia - another theme from the EP.
